The fatty acids help your skin retain moisture and can heal chapped and irritated skin. Almond oil is a good natural face moisturizer, safe for even those with sensitive skin, and babies. Regular use of almond oil reduces appearance of wrinkles and fine lines from from face.  Because of its vitamin A content It can be used to gently dislodge debris from deep within skin pores and follicles, and also may help prevent future acne. Almond oil is light enough to use directly on the skin, though it’s not generally recommended as an overall facial moisturizer, because it can cause unwanted oiliness on the face.

Add a few drops of coconut oil to your moisturizer and apply it at night before sleeping if you are prone to face acne. Coconut oil stimulates hair growth getting deep into its follicles. Coconut oil promotes the scalp health fighting against such problems as insect bites, lice and dandruff. Since it is predominantly medium chain fatty acids, it is easily absorbed by the skin. This is an excellent massage oil for newborns and babies.

Olive oil has been used as a skin and hair treatment since ancient Egyptian times. Due to its antioxidant content, olive oil may reduce ageing skin and wrinkles. If you have super dry skin then take small amount and left overnight for better nourishment. A tablespoon or two of olive oil may be all youneed to fully reap its benefits. You can mix a bit of olive oil with a small amount of lemon juice which is effective in skin whitening and wrinkle prevention. t is non-comedogenic (does’t  clog skin pores) by nature, which makes it an ideal remedy for acne. It is also an emollient which hydrates and nourishes the skin and keeps it supple. It is also found in some researches that putting olive oil on the skin after sun exposure may fight off cancer-causing cells. Try to use organic, cold pressed, extra virgin olive oil for better result.

Castor oil is also said to moisturize the scalp, ease dandruff, and leave your hair smooth and shiny. … When applied to the scalp, it’s purported to enhance the health of the hair follicles and, in turn, promote hair growth too.

Tea-Tree Oil

Tea tree oil can come to your rescue if you are suffering from skin redness, any skin allergies, dark spots or a pimple outburst of its anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. The oil has antimicrobial and antiseptic properties which make it ideal for treating and soothing skin conditions put a few drops of concentrated tea tree oil onto a cotton swab or tissue and gently dab it onto your acne, leave it on for a few hours or overnight, then rinse it off, if you find pure tea-tree oil little harsh for your skin then dilute it with water then apply. Tea tree oil is available as an oil and in many over-the-counter skin products, including soaps and lotions.

Please keep few points in mind before using it on skin.

  • If you have very oily skin then always dilute oil with water before using, use cotton balls and gently apply, leave it for 15-20 mins then rinse it completely.
  • If you have sensitive skin or suffering from any skin allergies or disease always consult with your dermatologist.
  • Don’t go outside after applying in sun, better to use it at night before going to bed.
  • Oils leave stains so take care of your cloths.
